We have been continuously putting one sheet of Leckerlybiscuits after another into the oven of our bakery since 1753. Maybe because they simply make you want more. This is why we never got around to tweaking our recipes. And why should we? After all, we make our treats the way we have always loved them. Using the best ingredients nature has to offer and the best skills of our master bakers.

Guided tours of the workshop
Explore the exciting world of Switzerland’s oldest biscuit bakery and gain an insight into the 270-year history of Jakob’s Basler Leckerly and the story behind the Basler Läckerli – a hard spice biscuit. The guided tour lasts about 60 minutes and includes a trip back in time tracing the evolution of the Basler Läckerli, a tour of the bakery and a chance to sample Läckerli recipes from three centuries. At the end of the tour, you can try your hand at packing by wrapping up your own give-away.
