Between Basel's five bridges across the Rhine you will find the city's four ferries, “Wilde Maa”, “Leu”, “Vogel Gryff” and “Ueli”, with which you can cross the Rhine without motorized assistance, using only the natural power of the river's current. St. Alban ferry «Wild Maa»
Monday - Friday: 7.30 am - 7.00 pm Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 9.00 am - 7.00 pm
St. Johann ferry «Ueli»
Daily: 11.00 am - 7.00 pm If the weather is good, also until 11.00 pm and longer. Basically: When the light on the ferry roof is on, the ferry is in operation.
Münster Ferry «Leu»
Daily: 9.00 am – 8.00 pm
Klingental Ferry «Vogel Gryff»
Daily: 9.00 am – 7.00 pm. In case of good weather, even longer.
