With around 250 concerts and performances as well as 40,000 visitors per year, Kaserne Basel is the central culture hub in the city of Basel and offers a wide range of interdisciplinary formats, festivals, discourses, thematic focuses and residencies. With the riding hall and the two stable blocks, Kaserne Basel has three different function rooms that can be used with great flexibility for all kinds of events, offering room for up to 1700 guests. Together with the trendy KaBar, Kaserne Basel is a very popular meeting place in a diverse area.

Kaserne Basel is a trusted partner on the local, national and international theatre and dance scene, staging various festivals of performing arts. As a co-producer, it supports the ongoing development of independent theatre and dance ensembles as well as promoting young talents in Basel, Switzerland and abroad. Kaserne Basel is also known for its national and international music acts. The programme with a focus on live concerts offers a varied mix of current, up-and-coming, innovative and established bands.
