Getting you ready for Rhine swimming: on every match day in Basel there’s an information stand at the “Beach” entry point beside the Museum Tinguely, where you can pick up personal tips on currents, safety and the route — and buy the original Wickelfisch at the same time. It keeps your clothes and valuables dry while they bob along beside you. The stand is open daily from 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm, so you can set off down the Rhine fully prepared.
