  • Kannenfeldpark, covering 9.1 hectares, is the largest green space in the city of Basel. In addition to its vast range of trees, the green park is a popular place for young and old to spend time.

  • These green spaces are great places to walk and linger in the summer months. The grassy areas offer plenty of space for relaxing, sunbathing and picnicking. Some parks have a public barbecue spot, and people can also bring their own barbecues. To keep these urban oases tidy, there are plenty of rubbish bins so that no waste need be left behind.
