In the Petite Camargue nature reserve, you can discover the unique landscape of the Rhine and many animal species in the wild. There are also frequent exhibitions on the history of the Rhine and on local pisciculture programmes.
The “little Camargue” is a wonderful 900 hectare nature reserve close to Saint-Louis. Visitors have a choice of three paths to follow on the way to discovering animals in their natural habitats. The Imperial fish farms in the heart of the nature reserve have frequent exhibitions on the Rhine and its pisciculture, but their main activity is breeding salmon and returning these magnificent fish to the waters of the Rhine.
