A guided tour explores Basel venues where art and culinary culture meet, including BANKS at Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois and Volkshaus Basel. Free, registration required, max. 25 people.
Where people come together, stories emerge. In cafés, bars and restaurants, people don't just eat and drink—they also think, discuss and create. This is where artists, ideas and guests meet; where works hang that transform spaces; and where new forms of inspiration arise.
Our tour leads to selected Basel restaurants and hotels that have long served as meeting points for the art scene or whose walls have become vibrant galleries. At each stop, we immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the place, learn more about its background, and take a closer look at selected works. What emerges is a multifaceted portrait of the city as a place where art and culinary culture inspire one another.
