Rio Bar

The iconic Rio Bar has been a gathering place for all ages, from artists and businesspeople to celebrities, students, and FC Basel fans since 1933. Enjoy drinks, beer, or a good glass of wine at the bar, in one of the iconic train compartment seating areas, or in the “Carmen-Stübli” lounge as you chat and celebrate. Rio Bar serves croque monsieurs and freshly baked flammkuchen as light bites. Every two weeks, a vernissage is held for the “Art Box”, the smallest outdoor gallery in the world.
