Gertrud Dübi-Müller, Collector and Pioneer
She was one of Switzerland’s most important art collectors, a passionate photographer, mountaineer, and driver, and she posed as a model for Ferdinand Hodler: The Kunstmuseum Basel is presenting the first comprehensive exhibition on Gertrud Dübi-Müller (1888–1980). Some eighty works by renowned artists from her international collection, striking photographs, and previously unpublished documents shed light on Dübi-Müller’s life and highlight her influence on art and cultural history.
