Dance, music, and mythological and biographical narratives intertwine to create a journey through time, space, and identity. with Keshavas & their Kalasri Dance and Music Ensemble
50 Years of Kalasri – Since 1976, the Swiss-Indian artistic family Keshava Jenny from Basel has been dedicated to the art of Indian dance. They have created numerous dance choreographies and, through their dance and yoga school Kalasri, make a significant contribution to artistic diversity and cultural exchange in Switzerland.
In the anniversary production “Kala Chakra” (Wheel of Time), dance, music, and mythological and biographical narratives intertwine—a journey through time, space, and identity. “Kala Chakra” is a tribute to the unifying power of art. It is an invitation to experience, feel, and celebrate art together across generations and cultures.
