We are pleased to offer a 3-day workshop for children ages 8 to 12 at Kunst Raum Riehen, in cooperation with K’Werk Bildschule, Basel!
Please touch! Help build a tactile landscape
You learn to feel with your hands and discover subtleties. You explore different materials and perceive how they feel. You create shapes, surfaces and structures and implement your ideas. Your fingers will become dexterous, your senses awake and your imagination really big! You will also learn how to build something together with others.
Our tactile landscape will be explored and built on by visitors on Saturday, August 8, 2026, as part of the Fondation Beyeler's summer festival, realized in collaboration with the Kulturbüro Riehen and Kunst Raum Riehen.
Age group: 8 – 12 years; no previous knowledge required. Bring a picnic for lunch, as well as curiosity, a desire to try things out and a love of feeling and creating. Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty.

The workshop is a collaboration between the K’Werk Bildschule, Basel, and the Kunst Raum Riehen.
