Culture and enjoyment in Alsace – a day trip from Basel
Discover Alsace on our unforgettable trip from Basel to Colmar, Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle and Ribeauvillé! Immerse yourself in a world of cultural discoveries, scenic beauty and culinary delights.
Your first destination is Colmar, known as the “Little Venice” of Alsace. Stroll through the narrow streets of the Old Town, admire the colourful half-timbered houses and taste local specialties in a typical Alsatian restaurant. Next, the majestic Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle awaits you – a medieval fortress towering high above the vineyards. Explore its impressive walls, enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding landscape and delve into the fascinating history of this significant site. As a crowning finale, our trip leads you to Ribeauvillé – a charming medieval village known for its picturesque streets and excellent wines. Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy wine tasting at a local winery and experience the warm hospitality of the locals.
This day trip offers the perfect opportunity to experience the beauty of the Alsace region in just one day from Basel. You’ll explore the stops independently and without a tour guide, so you can discover each place at your own pace.
