It can hold 50,000 litres of water in its large basin and is officially called the “Drei Lebensalter-Brunnen” (Three Ages Fountain). It was artist Alexander Zschokke (1894–1981) who placed the three bronze figures on the pedestal, representing childhood/youth, adulthood and old age.
