Fifties attire, knickerbockers, braces, cord jackets: outwardly, Männerstimmen Basel are deliberately "old hat", but the costumes are worn by young men, mostly under 30, who are devoted 100% to the tradition of male voice choirs. Männerstimmen's projects manage to bridge the gap between old traditions and modern sounds.
