Kunstmuseum Basel | Gegenwart

It opened in 1980 under the name Museum für Gegenwartskunst and was one of the world's first venues to focus solely on contemporary art. It exhibits works from the collections of Kunstmuseum Basel and the Emanuel Hoffmann Foundation. Alongside rotating collection exhibitions it also hosts regular lectures and discussions on modern art topics, guided tours and viewings.
