Galerie Carzaniga Basel

The Carzaniga Gallery has been run by Philipp Hediger and Markus Rück since October 2004. The focus is on classical Swiss art (including the Red-Blue Group and Group 33) through to works of abstract expressionism, informal painting and contemporary Swiss art. The focus is mainly on painting, but other media such as drawings, sculptures and photographs are also represented. The exhibitions of 20th and 21st century art contrast beautifully with the historic building in Basel's old town where the Carzaniga Gallery is located.
