Cathedral
Dom and Ermitage Arlesheim
The Dom (cathedral) is the undisputed landmark of Arlesheim. This idyllic village situated in the canton of Basel is also worth a visit for its impressive English gardens.
Beschreibung
Arlesheim's Dom (cathedral) is a major work of Baroque architecture. It houses an organ built in 1761 by Johannes Andreas Silbermann. Afterwards you can enjoy a walk through the Ermitage gardens with their numerous ponds and grottos. If you would like to get to know this delightful region even better, why not extend your visit to include Schloss Birseck or the Goetheanum in neighbouring Dornach?
