Bell site
The largest street art mural in Switzerland ever was created on the Basel Bell site in 2020. Over 30 artists from near and far created a wall of 1700 m2 at the Change of Colours event.

Far from the city centre, innovative and impressive works of art decorate the walls around the site of the Bell meat-processing company – too good to miss! Most of the works here are created in consultation with the operators of the Bell site. However, various styles are currently being tried out, which is why the paintings are changing constantly. The colourful spray-painted walls enhance the grey industrial zone. On the outside, the site is therefore a type of public gallery, directly on the heavily trafficked road to the French border.
By promoting this and similar projects, the Urbane Kunst association is adding more colour to the Basel region.
