Artstübli – art and culture

Artstübli is a platform that showcases all contemporary facets of urban art and culture – from graffiti to street art. Established in 2004 by Philipp Brogli, Artstübli moved into 125 m2 of space in the circular buildings of the Markthalle Basel in 2014. In addition to specially curated exhibitions, Brogli and his team arrange and coordinate murals, interior designs, event appearances, guerrilla campaigns and interventions as well as providing authentic guided urban art tours.

Since 2022, the ARTYOU Installation, ARTYOU Culinary and ARTYOU Performance labels have expanded the spectrum to include installation, culinary and performance arts, which are no longer exclusively located in the context of urban art. To support this transformation, a non-profit association was founded in 2023 to curate and coordinate the accompanying exhibition formats and event programmes.
