At Markthalle Basel, we are committed to avoiding waste, especially food waste. With Zero Waste Switzerland, we have the perfect partner organization on board. In three workshops (and 3 café meetings) between May and July 2022, you will get valuable tips and tricks for waste prevention in everyday life. The workshops can be attended individually or as a series of workshops.
The second workshop in our series revolves around beauty, hygiene, cleaning and clothing. How do you buy better and less without feeling like you have to do without? How harmful is the fashion industry and what kind of toxins surround us in everyday life? The focus is on new habits such as package-free and second-hand shopping, reusing/repairing, sharing/exchanging, and reducing in the aforementioned areas.
