Spring brings bock! Be there when Barbara Jenzer, owner of Metzgerei Jenzer, opens the Maibock season with a ceremonial barrel tapping. For two hours, we invite you to enjoy the full-bodied, malty Ueli Maibock - fresh from the barrel and with character!
Culinary highlight: Barbara Jenzer will not only be tapping the keg, but will also have the brand new Ueli Maibock sausage with her, which we will be offering you on this special occasion. Sophisticatedly prepared by Löwenzorn chef Anwar Frick, this special festival sausage has been developed as a real treat for beer lovers. History & beer culture: The well-known Basel historian and city guide Mike Stoll tells exciting stories about Maibock and its history.
