KimBo, who lives in Basel but has roots in Ticino and Zurich influences, is bringing her unmistakable blend of dialect and Italian rap to this year’s Sound Garden at the Fondation Beyeler. Her lyrics are sometimes razor-sharp, sometimes poetic, but always pointed and seasoned with a good dose of social criticism and a great deal of humour. Musically, she moves confidently between reggaeton, baile funk and afrobeat, creating a sound that moves the mind and body. Together with DJ Triple B, she will create an energetic live set full of energy, angles and emotions.
The concert series will take place every Wednesday* between 6 and 8 p.m. from 25 June to 10 September 2025.
