Çiçek Taksi is dedicated to the love of poetry – a love that knows no language boundaries. In addition to adaptations of Anatolian songs that the singer of the group "Çiçek Taksi", founded in 2019, grew up with, the quartet plays self-composed versions of Turkish-language poems about love, repression, resistance and hope, written by people from Switzerland’s Turkish-Kurdish community. With lyric poetry and accompanying acoustic instruments, the quartet creates a mood that is capable of awakening both the melancholy and the joyful spirits in you.
The concert series will take place every Wednesday* between 6 and 8 p.m. from 25 June to 10 September 2025.
