HARDROCK ANTHEMS FROM 25 YEARS
Shakra's anniversary tour has been marked by postponements and cancellations over the past two years. In 2022, the five musicians want to make up for what they missed on their "Mad World - 25th Anniversary Tour". And the omens are very good that Shakra show the devil virus Omikron the master and may rock this year again extensively the clubs and stages and spread their hard rock anthems throughout Europe. We are already looking forward to a top motivated band and songs from a quarter of a century of Shakra.
On September 17, 2021 Shakra played one of their few concerts of the last two years in Pratteln. Large parts of the planned anniversary tour and gigs in the CH super double with Gotthard had to be postponed or canceled. But now the band sees light at the end of the tunnel again. Mad World Over Europe is finally to be carried out in the fall. Of course, another gig in the concert temple Z7 should not be missing. Almost one year after the last show, the five musicians will travel to Pratteln again with their album "Mad World" to celebrate another great rock party with the fans after all the hardships of the last two years. Those who read the lines about last year's anniversary party at Metalinside.ch won't miss the chance to make the pilgrimage to Z7 on September 9. Z7 correspondent Yannick Doutaz summed up the musical liberation blow in a difficult time for concert lovers as follows: "Mad World - the title of the current iron of the hard rockers is due to the current world events simply undisputed the optimal motto. What has been happening on our globe for quite a while now has very little to do with normality. Fortunately, thanks to the gentlemen from beautiful Ämmitau, we can completely forget all our worries and critical thoughts for a full two hours. The artists do not rely exclusively on the freshest silver disc, but opt - to the delight of all present - for a varied journey through their discography." And the final conclusion of Metal-Dutti is: "Shakra are an undisputed live power and present themselves tonight from their best side. The result is concertgoers jumping, singing along, cheering, laughing, sweating through, swinging their manes, playing air guitars and drinking hop tea." Exactly like that and not otherwise!
