The extensive program shows how much new, exciting and award-winning architecture can be found in Basel-Stadt but also in its neighboring municipalities in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. Among them are contemporary buildings such as the impressive FHNW Campus in Muttenz as well as private houses in Binningen and Bottmingen.
In the canton of Basel-Stadt, we are showing communally organized residential buildings in Lysbüchel by young architectural firms and more than 20 protected historic buildings such as the Haus Frey from the classical modern period in Riehen or city-defining buildings of the former chemical company Ciba on the transformation area Klybeck. We would also like to highlight this year's focus on Allschwil from the canton of Basel-Landschaft.
