HIMMELSZELT 2025 will once again bring circus, theater and music to Basel's Margarethenpark, with workshops, shows, a new story tent, café and a meeting zone for children and families.
The HIMMELSZELT is coming back!
In 2025, we will once again turn Margarethenpark into a place full of art, encounters and joy. There will be a colorful program with circus, theater and music - for children, families and everyone who loves culture.
2024 was great - now we're looking forward to 2025!
Our program:
- In the mornings, we will again be holding workshops for a fixed group of children. (with registration!)
- In the afternoon there are open workshops to join in. (without registration)
- New: From Tuesday to Saturday at 3 pm there is the story tent - where exciting stories for children are told. (Groups must register!)
- In the evening (Tuesday to Saturday) and on Sunday afternoon there are great shows. They are funny, exciting, creative and surprising. (without registration)
The HIMMELSZELT café serves delicious food and drink. Everything at cost price.
A small library (GGG Stadtbibtliohek Basel) with games and craft materials is available on the square.
Here you can relax, play, talk and meet new people.
