Art ghost train - Tinguely Museum
From May 22, 2025, a historic ghost train at Museum Tinguely will be transformed into the immersive art installation "Scream Machines".
"Scream Machines - Art Ghost Train" at the Museum Tinguely
Scream Machines - an impressive large-scale installation by British artist Rebecca Moss and Swiss artist Augustin Rebetez - transforms the basic structure of a historic ghost train into a walk-through, immersive art landscape. The project is inspired by Jean Tinguely's "Le Crocrodrome de Zig et Puce" (1977), which he created together with Bernhard Luginbühl, Daniel Spoerri and Niki de Saint Phalle for the Centre Pompidou. The parcours consists of new works by both artists created especially for the project.
The art ghost train will be open from May 22 to August 30, 2025 in Solitude Park in front of the Museum Tinguely during museum opening hours. A ride costs CHF 4 per person.
In addition, the museum will be showing a selection of humorous short films by Rebecca Moss in its telephone booth, the smallest exhibition space.
