In this session, we will explore the dynamics of the 5 elements and use a mix of modalities to balance them within ourselves. Earth, water, fire, air and ether are the building blocks of human life. We have all of these within us, and when we can understand the qualities of each element and recognize them in our body, actions, thoughts and emotions, we can flow through life with more ease.
General breakdown of the session:
Earth - Meditation: We will begin the session by connecting to our sacred roots and finding a sense of grounding, stability, security and a "coming home", letting go of any stress and anxiety.
Water - Vinyasa Flow (& intuitive movement): From a place of safety and belonging, we will move into a playful, fluid and rhythmic flow, releasing any sadness and constriction, and tapping into our creative juices and sense of joy. Feeling good in our bodies before really going to work.
Fire - Yoga HIIT (& intuitive movement): We will then move into some more intense movement, releasing any anger or anything standing in the way of your inherent power. Tapping into feelings of strength, self-confidence, courage and purpose.
Air - Breathwork: Next, we will use the breath to open up our hearts, reaching the deepest corners of ourselves and connecting with our true essence.
Ether - Deep Relaxation: As we move through the first 4 elements, we allow for more spaciousness in the mind and body. This creates an opportunity for deep relaxation and a pathway for profound spiritual truths to flow through.
