Tanzhaus Basel is an “artist-run house” in which artists actively participate in the development of the house. It combines dance, experimentation, exchange and creative research. The focal points “Choreographic Center”, “Dance & Media Lab”, “Community Art Space” and “Young Tanzhaus Basel” create space for participation, innovation and social dialogue. The formats are created in partnership and offer sustainable perspectives. The Tanzhaus is part of the Frank Areal development project in Kleinbasel, which combines dance, the circular economy and living.
