Offene Kirche Elisabethen

The neo-Gothic church of St Elisabeth is a generous space with slender columns, glass windows letting in natural light, and flexible seating in the centre of Basel. Equipped with modern audio technology and spotlights, the church provides a unique atmosphere for banquets, concerts, exhibitions, product presentations, fashion shows and lectures. At night illuminations, spot lighting, lighting effects and music transform the space into an inimitable ambience for discos, balls or other festivities. The building is leased out by the "Open Church of St Elisabeth", an ecumenical association that funds social, cultural and spiritual events and services for Basel and the region through rental income, donations and cooperations.

Parking is available for event organizers. The venue is accessible by wheelchair. It does not have production kitchen facilities.
