Magical Courtyard Volkshaus

The Volkshaus’ magical courtyard is the perfect place for families: children can take part in an exciting competition by discovering small animal figures that have been hidden in the Christmas tree. The grand prize is an overnight stay for the whole family at the hotel. In addition, the Volkshaus’ magical courtyard is organizing a fundraiser to benefit the children at the Bürgerliches Waisenhaus Basel (Basel orphanage).

The magical courtyard invites guests to leave everyday life behind and immerse themselves in a festive, Christmassy atmosphere. There’s no shortage of culinary delights: children can look forward to delicious punch, while adults enjoy warming mulled wine. Drinks are available on a self-service basis from Thursday to Saturday and can be consumed in cosy, warm seats in the courtyard. The Brasserie and the Imi Bar also provide special moments of pleasure.
