Magical Courtyard Hotel Steinenschanze

... Once upon a time, there was a little raven called Noxi who lived in the parks of Basel. He loved flying through the city’s tall trees and colourful flowers, exploring new gardens every day and greeting the residents with his cheerful croak. One day, when the sun was gleaming in warm golden tones over the city, he discovered a hidden path in the garden of Hotel Steinenschanze that he had never seen before. Curious as he was, he flew along the path until he came across a beautiful clearing. In the middle of it stood a small witch’s house, hidden under an old yew tree, with an old owl sitting on its branches, staring at him with wide eyes. A fountain was bubbling in the garden, its water sparkling as if it were made of pure crystal. Noxi flew closer, intrigued, and gazed deep into the clear water. Suddenly, the owl called out in a mysterious voice: “Be careful, small raven! This fountain holds ancient magic. A lot of people touched it and were transformed... .”

Afternoon of arts and crafts

Every Wednesday afternoon during the Advent season (4, 11 and 18 December) from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm, children accompanied by their parents are invited to a magical afternoon of arts and crafts. The story of Noxi is read aloud on the hour, before the creative activities begin.

There are free waffles and drinks for the children. A voluntary donation to the Compagna association would be appreciated.
