Magical Courtyard Antikenmuseum

The sculpture garden in the Antikenmuseum’s secluded courtyard truly shines during the Advent season, bedecked with twinkling stars and fairy lights that create a magical atmosphere. The combination of the timeless beauty of the Greek statues and the festive decorations takes you into a whole new world.

Nestling in the staged sculpture garden is a cosy wooden cabin – the Capanna AMB. This unique event location whisks you away into the mystical forests where the Ancient Greeks believed mysterious hybrid creatures lived and cheeky satyrs got up to no good. The rustic wooden cabin offering delicious fondue and raclette is the perfect place to savour special moments. Capanna opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday: 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm, closed on Monday and Sunday (except for private functions).

The Culture Meets Cuisine package for the sculpture garden and the Capanna AMB, available for CHF 56 on Friday evenings, includes a relaxing aperitif in the festively decorated sculpture garden (6.00 pm), a guided tour of the historical courtyard (6.30 pm) and a cosy dinner in the Capanna (7.00 pm). Available dates are updated continually on the AMB home page (reservations need to be made by 2.00 pm on Thursday of the same week).
