Veranda Pellicanò at the mouth of the Birs ("Birsköpfli"), one of the prettiest parks in the local area, is not only a restaurant but also a type of open-air gallery. Local and international street artists have designed the facade of this attractive pavilion on the Rhine. Every few years, new paintings decorate the walls – which is just what the restaurant's proprietor wants. A mix of styles comes together here, and different subjects are displayed on the outer walls of the open-air restaurant. The works of art are very popular with both young and older visitors, lending the pavilion in this green space an urban touch.
