Travelling to the Exhibition Center

Basel’s Exhibition Center is right in the heart of the city and easily accessible by all forms of transport. Whether you prefer to travel by train or take your own car, you will find all the most important information here.

Travelling to the Exhibition Center by train

Basel has not one, but two centrally located railway stations that connect Switzerland with nearby Germany and France. Both these stations have direct public transport connections to the Basel Exhibition Center.

Basel SBB
  • Tram No. 1 in the direction of «Basel, Dreirosenbrücke», get off at «Messeplatz» tram stop
  • Tram No. 2 in the direction of «Basel, Eglisee», get off at «Messeplatz» tram stop

Badischer Bahnhof (german station)

(8 minutes from the Exhibition Center on foot)

  • Tram No. 2 in the direction of «Binningen, Kronenplatz», get off at «Messeplatz» tram stop
  • Tram No. 6 in the direction of «Allschwil Dorf», get off at «Messeplatz» tram stop

Parking at the Exhibition Center

A number of parking options are available directly adjacent to the Exhibition Center. Various public car parks are also available in the vicinity of the Center, approximately 1 km away.
