“Matisse” package deal

The Fondation Beyeler will be exhibiting the first Henri Matisse retrospective in the German-speaking world for almost 20 years – from 22 September 2024 to 26 January 2025. The “Matisse – Invitation to the Voyage” exhibition comprises over 70 major works by this eminent exponent of modern art, showcasing his groundbreaking oeuvre. By freeing colour from the subject and simplifying forms, Henri Matisse paved the way for a new era in painting, imbuing art with a hitherto unknown lightness and influencing many generations of artists after him.

The “Matisse” package deal includes an admission ticket to the Fondation Beyeler, an overnight stay in the accommodation of your choice and the BaselCard. The latter gives you free use of public transport as well as discounts on numerous cultural and leisure activities.
