Swiss tradition that’s good enough to eat – Jakob’s Basler Leckerly

Description

A real piece of Basel – authentic, edible, and unforgettable. Visit the oldest biscuit factory in Switzerland and discover over 270 years of baking art: a feast for the eyes, the taste buds and the curious. At Jakob’s Basler Leckerly you can immerse yourself in history, learning all about the origins of the Basler Leckerly, and travelling through three centuries of traditional craftsmanship. With a bit of luck, the owner will personally show you round the factory, giving you an exclusive insight into production and packaging. Afterwards, you can design your own personalized Classic Leckerly souvenir box of biscuits in the packaging workshop. For private groups, the packing is organized as a competition; the fastest packer receives an additional gift.

For adults and children (aged 10 and over). The activity lasts 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the group, and is available in German, English or French.
