Yoan Mudry "The Future Doesn’t Need Us"

The visual language of Lausanne-born, Geneva-based artist Yoan Mudry (* 1990) is anchored in contemporary pop culture. In a collage-like manner, he juxtaposes elements and images from advertising campaigns, the world of music, film, comics, art history, and Internet culture. His new project will be his largest work to date, combining recent drawings, text fragments, and sign painted elements, will be presented on the back wall of Kunsthalle Basel.
