✺ RUTHER LANA & MISS C-LINE (CH) feat. Gaston Bandimic (SEN)
RLM is a trio from Switzerland, founded by drummer Jonas Ruther with François Lana on synthesizer & sampler and MISS C-LINE rap, vocals and FX. With influences from modern indie rap and jazz culture, combined with collective improvisations and complex psychedelic sound structures, the three strong personalities create a very intense musical experience on stage.
For two concerts, RLM invite the Senegalese rapper Gaston Bandimic, who raps in Wolof and ignites an impressive rhythmic fire live.
✺ Agnes Leclaire (CH)
Agnes Leclaire with Javanese and Sundanese roots is an experimental sound artist,
researcher and mediator based in Basel. Her field of interest is the modern and traditional Indonesian soundscapes, which are shaped by the legacy of colonial history and its ongoing political impact.
With a conscious and careful approach to her heritage without falling into the trap of “romanticising” the past, which has the potential to create further boundaries and using experimental music techniques, she explores the symbiosis created when tradition is combined with Western approaches and technologies.
