The St. Johann campus has been turned into a modern workplace including first-class architecture and exquisite design
The project benefits the company, its employees and the city of Basel, which has been the home base of Novartis for more than 20 years. Discover this place of innovation and research with us. You have the opportunity to hear about the history and work philosophy of the campus on selected Saturdays and to see the office and laboratory buildings from the outside, with expert guidance around the facility by Novartis employees.
Since 2011, several new buildings have been opened close to the Rhine. These buildings by the architects Herzog & de Meuron, Alvaro Siza, Eduardo Souto de Moura as well as the laboratory building by Rahul Mehrotra, which is open to visitors, form part of this tour. It also focuses on the landscape architecture, several works of art and the public promenade built by the city of Basel. Novartis donates the majority of the proceeds to an internationally or locally renowned social institution.
Due to the current situation there are no guided tours of Novartis Campus taking place until further notice.
