The Nightwatchman’s Secret

Come along and join nightwatchman Rudolf Streiff on his evening tour through the quiet streets and narrow lanes of the picturesque old part of Basel known as St. Alban-Vorstadt – also called Basel‘s “Little Venice”.

On his way, he will tell you about the adventures, the long-past stories and the way of life in the olden days of the people of St. Alban-Tal. He will also let you in on his secret and unrequited love for the beautiful and highborn Helena who will cross his path whilst he is making his tour.
