In and around the cultural city of Basel, countless green leisure areas and parks invite you to take a walk, play a little sport or quite simply to while away the time.
For example, in the Schützenmattpark, Merian Park in Brüglingen, Kannenfeldpark or in the idyllic Wenkenpark in Riehen, leisure and relaxation are paramount. The Wenkenpark is one of the loveliest in the region, and lies just 15 minutes outside the city.
