Fountains – Water – Springs

As early as the 15th century the participants in the Council of Basel were impressed by the many fountains in the city. Today our guests still admire the numerous fountains dating from various periods. On the tour from the Fischmarkt to the St. Albantal you also learn about the water supply in old Basel. And who knows, perhaps you will cool your feet in fresh spring water right beside the Rhine.
