Membership Gastronomy

As a restaurateur you can profit directly from the fact that we advertise the city both within Switzerland and abroad. Membership of Basel Tourismus will not only strengthen your own position; it will help reinforce the destination of Basel as a whole.

You will gain the following advantages:

• Entry in the official restaurant guide for Basel and the surrounding region (“Schlemmen in Basel”)

• Entry in the online register of restaurants at www.basel.com (offer only open to members of Basel Tourismus) incl. link to your restaurant's website

• Distribution of the restaurant guide to the country-wide canton representatives at Schweiz Tourismus, Swiss embassies and consulates, worldwide branches of Swiss, Messe Schweiz AG and to our Tourist & Hotel Information Offices at the Stadt-Casino on Barfüsserplatz and at the Swiss Railway Station (SBB)

• Participation in all promotional and advertising activities carried out by the marketing and sales departments of Basel Tourismus who are present at all major international tourism trade fairs

• Recommendations to groups who want lunch, snacks or dinner during the course of their excursion or guided tour (taking into account their specific interests)

• Consideration of your business when organising programmes for press trips (taking into account the specific interests of the client)

• Members' magazine “Basel Aktuell” (four issues each year)

• Free information material from Basel Tourismus.
