We follow the tracks of Hermann Hesse, who was born in Germany in 1877 and later became a Swiss citizen, between the Spalentor and the Münsterplatz. Hesse spent a number of years in Basel. Places visited on this tour include the Missionshaus – the Stiftsgasse – the Fischmarkt – Münsterplatz: locations where Hesse lived and wrote.
