Starting from the German railway station, you first visit the Three-Countries Corner, the meeting point of France, Germany and Switzerland in the port of Basel.
On the way through the city centre, you cross the Rhine several times and have a glimpse of our well-preserved Old Town.
You pass the city gates, the University, the City Hall and various museums. The guided tour ends with a short walk from the Kunstmuseum via the Münsterplatz to the terrace high above the Rhine from which you can enjoy a panoramic view.
The Cathedral can be visited during its opening hours.
