iGuide
Basel is the first city in Switzerland to let its guests experience history with the help of the latest in multimedia technology. With iGuide, follow the footsteps of world-famous personalities who have left a significant mark on Basel.
You can choose from five city tours, which come with a commentary on the iGuide PDA (organiser) in German or English, and over 500 pictures. You can select any of the stops along your tour through the Old Town by using your mini-computer, and switch from one tour to the other as the mood takes you.

The audiovisual tours of the Old Town can be booked at the tourist information offices of Basel Tourismus in the City Casino on Barfüsserplatz and at the SBB train station. The rental fee is CHF 15 for 4 hours and CHF 22 for a whole day.
