Bands and DJs will be placed at several hot spots along the course to make this run a unique experience for runners and spectators.

The course design includes many touristic landmarks of Basel. Runners can choose between Marathon, semi-marathon and an Ekiden marathon, a relay race in which six members of a team split the marathon distance.

The finishing line for all three races is in the "Marktplatz" which is located in front of the city hall, one of the most beautiful and historic buildings in Basel.
